Never hold or light fireworks in your hand.

Never place or shoot fireworks on any part of yours or another

person’s body.

Kids should only

shoot fireworks under adult supervision.

Only shoot fireworks in clear open areas. Never shoot fireworks in tall

dry grass or heavily wooded areas.

Keep a bucket of water or water hose nearby when shooting fireworks.

Only light one firework

at a time.

Do not use fireworks

while under the influence of alcohol or other

illegal drugs.

Never try to pick up or

re-light fireworks that did not ignite.

Never light more than

one sparkler at a time. Sparklers held together can ignite each other and cause burns to hands

and fingers.
